Merry Christmas to all! This little wall hanging helped to put me in the Christmas spirit. I even stuffed the ornaments so that they would be a little puffy and stick out from the tree.
This is my first blog in about a year. As some of you know, I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in March. With the help and support of family, great friends, and wonderful doctors at the Cancer Center Treatment of America in Zion, IL, I underwent 18 weeks of chemotherapy. I found out it takes about just as many weeks to recover from the therapy as is does to go through it. Needless to say, chemo brought my quilting to a complete halt.
As of today, I am four months into remission and all is well. I am back to piecing, quilting, hosting Saturday Sewing dates, retreats, and teaching classes. I will once again attempt to post something new for you each week. It is good to be back.
A very Merry Christmas to you and an even better New Year!
